Gitmo Bay

I can't understand why there is such a controversy about where to put the detainees from Guantanamo Bay. Why must we put those people ANYWHERE??? Why don't they just unlock the doors and let them go. They're in Cuba, for goodness sake. I'm not even sure they will try to go anywhere anyway, but if they do leave, they dare not try to harm any of our soldiers there as that would provide a reason for the soldiers to shoot them. If they go on into Cuba, the Cubans will probably shoot them. If they want to leave Cuba, let them get on a raft and try to make it to the U.S.

Obama believes in traditional marriage

Before the election, Obama claimed to believe in traditional marriage. But I believe that was just something to buy him votes. He throws his weight into anything else he believes strongly in, so why isn't he voicing his opinion when it comes to the gay marriage controversy? Let's see how long it takes for him to change his stance on gay marriage. I believe he will do that eventually, because I believe he is too liberal to believe in traditional marriage. I saw some guy on TV ranting about gay marriage, saying that he couldn't believe they would let bunch of people tell a minority how they were supposed to live. What?!! The very idea!! Why on earth should people be able to put democracy to work to decide an issue! Where do you suppose this guy got his education, and why did he miss so much of his government class?Just wait, as soon as gay marriage is accepted, there will be people coming out of the woodwork to marry more than one person, or marry their dog or cat or horse, or marry their house or Heaven knows what. Why wouldn't they? What's the difference? It's gonna happen sooner or later. Remember I said that.
